I love the variety offered by the colors and pre-designed engraving options (which are wonderful choices) and the ease and affordability of customization if you prefer something particular. Be aware that the engraving (now debossed in solid form like shown in my photos, rather than carved as an outline like shown in others’ photos, unless you speak with the shop to request the older type of outline engraving) will be on the back side of the cover and you will still need to find a prayer card to fit the front pocket. Here are the engravings I chose for myself, my dad (for Father’s Day) and my brother (for his birthday).

Thomas was a pleasure and breeze to do business with and I was happy to be able to find such a speciality product from a (Catholic) family owned company. This item is mostly utilitarian and pragmatic but vaguely luxury. I love the variety offered by the colors and pre-designed engraving options (which are wonderful choices) and the ease and affordability of customization if you prefer something particular. Be aware that the engraving (now debossed in solid form like shown in my photos, rather than carved as an outline like shown in others’ photos, unless you speak with the shop to request the older type of outline engraving) will be on the back side of the cover and you will still need to find a prayer card to fit the front pocket. Also, you should undo the metal snap on the spine before putting your missal in and when using the missal. Close the snap again once you’re done for storage. That will allow you to use the missal freely and not put undue pressure on the spine, while protecting the book and its structure. I bought these 3 for the St. Andrew’s Daily Missal and they fit perfectly. Lastly, the cover has an odd smell because I suppose of the leather. While my prayer cards were en route (from a little brick and mortar located in Turin, Italy, which you can find on Etsy under the name “Arte Torre”) I stored my missals tightly in a box enclosed with a lavender odor eliminator pouch. I took them out 2 weeks later to find they smelled remarkably good and very ready to be gifted, so don’t be put off by any scent; they just need to air out and/or be saturated with fragrant aromas. I am adding a photo of my prayer cards from Arte Torre so you can find them there if you’d like for the missal and I hope the company will not mind. Hope this helps someone!

I love Blessed be God! I use it all the time to follow Mass but also as a prayer book. The quality of print and the materials are excellent! And it is probably only 1'' thick so easy and lightweight to carry and hold with one hand.
